Mongolia is also do not miss from having it's own traditional foods. Do you know that Mongolian traditional foods in the country is heavily influenced by the culture of Siberia and East Asia. Dishes that can be found in Mongolia is the country's own style. The climate in Mongolia is extreme continental and the traditional foods have influenced by the pattern of Mongolia.

In addition, Mongolia is a country of barren soil and it is the perfect place to raise animals such as cattle, horses and goats. Therefore, the main traditional foods in Mongolia are dairy products, meat and animal fat. Dairy products are made from horse milk which is named as Airag, and it is also a product of thick cream made from the milk of cows, yaks and camels.

Next, a popular dishes that also was from Mongol namely Khuushuur or known as pastry and meat cake. Khorkhog is meat soup that served with potatoes and suitable to be eaten at anytime. Buuz is one of the traditional food in Mongolia that has a shape like dimsum and filled with meat in it which was completed boiled, fried, or cooked in various ways. Boorstog was like a dessert namely sweet biscuits.

Besides, there is also a cake made with condensed milk and then dried in the sun that is known as Aaruul. For those who want to know about the main food of the people in Mongolia, it is referred to as Mongolian Barbeque.

Traditional dishes like this always served for guests who come to visit. For your information, using the vegetables and spices in Mongolia is quite limited.
